Veteran Kashmiri leader, Syed Ali Gilani has welcomed senior Hurriyet leaders, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Nayeem Ahmad Khan in his forum, and has invited other leaders to also join the forum.
Syed Ali Gilani addressing a press conference after the joining of his forum by the senior Hurriyet leaders at his Hyderpora residence in Srinagar, today, said that the move would further strengthen the liberation struggle against the Indian occupation.
Citing challenges faced by the Hurriyet leadership in the wake of Indian conspiracies to perpetuate its hold on the territory, the veteran leader said that India in pursuit of the Israeli policies wanted to thrust perpetual slavery upon the people of Kashmir. He said that the Kashmiris had rendered unparalleled sacrifices for the Kashmir cause, and now it was up to the Hurriyet leaders to protect these sacrifices.
The octogenarian leader said that the stooges of India were trying to deceive the innocent people of Kashmir through different tricks and tactics. However, he maintained that no compromise would be made on freedom from India.
On the occasion, Hurriyet leaders Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Nayeem Ahmad Khan pledged to further the freedom struggle under the stewardship of Syed Ali Gilani.
